This musical will take us all back to the late 1920's were there was great prosperity, that is, until the stock market crashed. Overnight the world was changed and it entered into the, "Great Depression"

I welcome you to join the GracePlayers and relive the Charleston, the Tango, and walk in the shoes of "The Haves" and "The Have Nots" of those who lived in rural cotton country.

Each of the characters in the play have distinct personalities and provide lots of opportunities to really get into a character. The most fun will be bringing the characters to life because I know I will be working with lots of Characters. Rehearsals will be fun.

The musical calls for a small chorus. I am changing that to make it as big of chorus as possible. Chorus members will have to learn to do the Charleston and strut their stuff with great gusto. C'mon flappers, lets give it a go.

So, why not download the script, listen to the music and make a decision to become involved. In a few weeks, I will be asking people to chose a role or simply become involved in the chorus.
